Larry Kile is the Youth Director here at Patuxent Presbyterian Church.
 | I was born and raised in Rockingham County in the Harrisonburg, Virginia area. Upon graduating high school I worked in several trades gaining valuable life experience trying to figure out what to do with my life. In 2005 I completed a general studies degree from Blue Ridge Community College in Weyers Cave, Virginia. In 2004 I became involved with the youth ministry at First Presbyterian Church in Harrisonburg, VA as volunteer adult leader. After volunteering for a year, I was asked to join the staff as the Assistant Youth Director. During my time as the assistant youth director I felt God's call into full time ministry and decided to accept a Youth Director position in Manassas, VA. God truly had great plans for my life, not even a month after moving to Northern Virginia I met Angella, who would eventually become my wife. In March of 2008 we felt God calling us to Southern Maryland to be the Youth Director here at Patuxent Presbyterian Church. We were married on May 25, 2008 and truly feel at home here at Pax Pres and feel blessed to be part of such a great church family. Angella and I are expecting our first child in November. I am also attending the University of Maryland College Park working towards a degree in American Studies while Angella is a fourth grade teacher in the local public schools. I am an avid sports fan, and love going to professional sporting events. Stop by my office and check out my memorabilia! ~Larry |
